1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business you represent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Description of the Service

Adbot helps you audit, configure and publish Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and related tracking resources. To do so, you grant us permission to read and write to the third-party accounts you connect. You remain the owner of those accounts and the data they contain.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Do not upload malicious code, spam, or content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use the Service to track individuals without a lawful basis.

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.

4. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Google (GA4, GTM, Ads, Sign-in) and Microsoft (Clarity). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages or data losses caused by third parties.

5. Fees & subscriptions

Paid plans, if applicable to your account, are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on prior notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by Adbot and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data and content you submit to the Service, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Confidentiality & data protection

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including POPIA and the GDPR where relevant.

8. Warranties & disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adbot disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that measurement data captured by third-party tools will be complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adbot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you to Adbot in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ZAR 1,000.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold Adbot harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, liability and indemnity) will do so.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
